Philip Bossenberger has been the director of SACB since 2019. Philip is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University (B.M.E., 2008), and earned his Masters in Conducting (Sam Huston State University, 2015). He is Director of Bands for Birch Run Area Schools, and is the 2019 winner of the Birch Run/Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year Award. He is a member of Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association, and is a director and instructor at Herter Band Camp since 2018. Philip is an active musician throughout Michigan with cover bands, jazz bands, and plays in the Midland Saxophone Quartet.
